In preparation of Israel’s 70’s birthday this year we are to make the following announcement on the last day of PESSAH, April 7th 2018 – at the European Synagogue with Ohel Eliezer in Brussels Belgium:
“In Brussels we founded the cloud based Jewish Butterfly Nation”.
The Jewish Butterfly Nation – “JBN” uses technology tools to connect the world’s Jews (Religious, Secular, Orthodox, traditional Jews) and friends of Judaism; it provides its members a shared platform to interact, protect and access related information, products and services using the most advanced technology.
Why do we need the Butterfly digital platform?
Many current, historic and future needs and initiatives are not fulfilled digitally. Jewish memory and life’s activity which used to be written in books must now be digitalized to be useable, meaningful, easily searchable and findable by current and future generations.
These may include locating Jewish historic places and places of worships, TORAH study online, availability of help and safety wherever in need, multimedia (TV, Audio, etc.) streaming and on demand multimedia content, finding a place to have a Seder, where to find Kosher food, Israeli products and Judaica items etc.; and exchange information on innovative technologies.
In the frame of TIKUN OLAM for a better world, we are also planning to create a JBN Infrastructure bank to finance Jewish and Israeli innovative technology implementations around the world spreading Jewish inventions and technology creating international economical and friendly links by doing and investing.
Why Butterfly?
The Butterfly idea in the Jewish Butterfly Nation is based on the "Butterfly Effect" concept that implies that the flaps of the delicate wings of the butterfly on one side of the world can by chain reaction create a huge effect elsewhere in the world. We want each member of the JBN to be a “Butterfly” create and receive a huge positive “Butterfly Effect” for the Jewish people and for all the world.
The Butterfly through amazing transformation becomes this beautiful delicate cherished and loved being. By analogy, the JBN is meant to become something that is cherished and loved by everyone.
The “Jewish Butterfly Nation” is launching a unique smartphone application for iPhones and Androids which is a SmartCity / Smart Community app that runs on Androids and iPhones and is in 28 languages including Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French, Russian…
It has a complete secured Messaging, Events Ticketing, and Agenda for Jewish holidays and events, an e commerce system for merchants selling kosher, Judaica and other Jewish related goods and services, a map that can contain all Jewish historic, worship and other places.
The application can manage also its own JBN currency that may be exchanged for example for reductions at merchants, get an entry ticket to a Jewish or an Israeli event, converted into trees to be planted in Israel and be offered as a present in a bar mitzvah to be spent in the JBN ecommerce Jewish ecosystem.
The JBN is global, in the Internet digital Cloud and is an enabler and an assembler of the Jewish Nation’s Cloud based identity in the same way the Jewish Nation assembling identity survived 2000 years of diaspora without a physical homeland but with the same idea of being assembled “Next Year in Jerusalem”. The Jewish Butterfly Nation is here today ready and willing to assemble us all on the cloud.
JBN includes and is complementary to all Jewish Diaspora and Jewish organizations around the world and the Jewish citizens of Israel - and will support the existence of the state of Israel as the promised and homeland for all the Jews wherever they are!

Last day of PESSAH, 7th April 2018 – At the European Synagogue Ohel Eliezer – Presentation of the Jewish Butterfly Nation digital platform by Willy Danenberg and declaration of the Jewish Butterfly Nation – JBN and the Jewish Infrastructure Bank - JIB; nominating all JEWS around the world as ambassadors of the Jewish Butterfly Nation!
2. 19th April 2018
- Posting of the Jewish Butterfly Nation Application on the app stores of Google and Android
- during the Israel national Independence Day celebrating 70 years of independence round table in Brussels to discuss the launching of the Jewish Butterfly Nation
– first crowd funding Campaign and recruiting of the first 1000 JBN members that will become its founding members; aiming to recruit during the Israel national day at least 250,000 USD - the crowd funding will be executed via the CHARIDY 360 website - https://www.charidy.com/ - Each USD provided will be given a right for a free bonus JBN Coin, a new currency that could be used and accepted by merchants on the Jewish Butterfly Nation app e commerce part.
3. Beginning of May 2018 – using the Jewish Butterfly Nation’s application voting system, defining the JBN values, governance protocol and tuning the JBN algorithm via the voting of the founding members – And establishment of the JBN digital platform and the Jewish Infrastructure bank.
